Social Networking for Kids

Though children under age 13 are prohibited to use social network, they adjust their birthday information to sign up where it couldn’t be controlled.

On Facebook, there are nearly 7.5 million kids, in which two-third of them below 10- Estimated by Consumer Reports.

About 20,000 profiles are removed everyday from Facebook for various reasons, one include the reason of being underage- Reports.

Facebook may give access to children under 13 as online world is considered not to be safe even for the grown-ups.

While the reality of Internet for Kids is scary with cyberbullying and Cyberstalking, there are also safe sites for kids. There are many safe and fun sites that parents' can direct their children to. Though we can't help when the children find the adult versions of social media sites more fun.
